Once again sin city, Las Vegas plays host to some of the world’s best poker players for almost two months of the year of poker played every day. This year the WSOP 2013 events have exceeded last year’s number of 61 by adding one more which brings the grand total of events to 62, the highest ever for the world series tournament. With this being the case, it’s going to be difficult for anyone to keep up with all the action and to spot which events are the ones to watch. It’s obvious to say that the most interest for events will depend on the calibre of the player’s involved so as always the main event $10,000 buy in No-Limit Hold'em Championship will attract the most attention when it begins on July 6.

This year will see the introduction of a new event ‘Millionaire Maker’ promises to bring some excitement to this year’s tournament, with just a $1,500 buy in No-Limit Hold’em with the first prize pool promising to be a staggering one million dollars. This will more than likely one of the most popular events of the series and is placed as event no.6 on the event schedule so make sure to check that out.

Other events that will be catching the eye at this year’s series is event number two which is a $5,000 buy-in eight-handed No-limit Hold'em that is predicted to attract interest from some of the world’s great poker players and is the first big money prize pool of the series.

Another one of the earlier events that will attract a great deal of interest will be event number three which is a $1,000 "re-entry" no-limit hold'em tournament which means that if a player goes bust they have the option to re-enter the game.
